The Best Places to Visit in Dubai
Dubai Mall
- The Dubai Mall is a masterpiece that has everything under one roof. It’s about the size of 200 soccer fields.
- There is a tank up to 11 meters high and an ice rink the right size for international events.
- Interestingly, the Dubai Mall is next to the Burj Khalifa on Financial Centre Street.
- The mega mall is part of the $20 billion Downtown Dubai development. Near the mall are some of the world’s most famous high-end hotels, like The Address Dubai.
- Travellers can walk around and shop on Fashion Avenue, a lifestyle area with stores from every high-end name worldwide.
- If you don’t want to pay, you can do a lot of free things at the Dubai Mall, like see the Dubai Dino Exhibit, which has skeletons of dinosaurs that lived 155 million years ago, at the Souk, or get a free view of the Dubai Burj Khalifa, the Fountain Lake, the world’s largest aquarium; or visit the VR park free of charge.
Jumeirah Mosque
- The Jumeirah Mosque is a secret gem among the tall concrete and glass buildings. Visit to learn about the area’s past.
- It is also one of the most multicultural places in Dubai. I will tell you everything you need to know to have a good time.
- Many people in Dubai think that the Jumeirah Mosque is the most important in the city.
- The main reason is that it is one of the few mosques in the city that lets people who are not Muslim come.
- It follows Dubai’s motto of “open doors, open minds” and is part of a plan to bring Islam to people from all walks of life and religions.
- But even if that isn’t enough to make you want to go, the building’s beauty will.
- The building was built in 1979 with the care and luxury typical of the country.
- From many places in the city, you can see its big dome surrounded by two tall minarets.
- Remember to look for it if you go to the top of the Burj Khalifa to enjoy the views with our last minute Dubai holidays.
Dubai Fountain
- The beautiful Burj Complex is home to the Dubai Fountain, the world’s biggest choreographed water fountain.
- This fountain can reach 150 meters high, and classical, Arabic, and other famous world music plays in the background.
- WET, a company from California that made the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas, created this fountain.
- It makes beautiful arcs and jumps to the beats. The show starts in the evening every day, and the best way to get there is the Dubai Mall.
- This Dubai Fountain is in the middle of the 24-acre Burj Lake and faces the sparkling Burj Khalifa.
- Each show lasts about 5 minutes. To get a better look, you can see the fountain from several places or book a tour on a traditional Arabian wooden boat called an abra, which leaves every day between 17:45 and 23:00.
- About 1.5 million lumens of dazzling light from the show attract travellers.

Dubai Off the Beaten Track
Downtown
- One of the most beautiful and interesting parts of Dubai is downtown.
- It appeared out of nowhere in the past few years and has quickly become one of the most popular tourist spots.
- Dubai offers great holidays because of its many sights, especially the Dubai Mall, the Burj Khalifa, and the Dubai Fountain.
- Downtown Dubai is a mixed-use complex built and planned by Emaar, one of the biggest construction companies in the Middle East and the company that built the Dubai Marina district, among other things.
- It covers two square kilometres and is on Sheikh Zayed Road, north of the Business Bay district.
- The number 25 Burj Khalifa–Dubai Mall metro station serves the area.
Dubai Marina
- As you might expect, Dubai Marina is a great place to do water-based activities in the city. Chartering a yacht for the day is a great way to see the Marina and the rest of Dubai’s shoreline. You can choose from many tours and our Dubai holiday packages, including fishing, diving, and seeing sights.
- HERO Boat Tours offers the only 90-minute self-drive boat tour in Dubai. A guide will take you out on the water for this tour, which is also the only one in Dubai. In Dubai Marina, you can do many water sports, such as jet skiing, paragliding, and more.
- Make things more exciting at Xline Dubai Marina, which has the longest urban zipline in the world. The zipline starts at 170 meters high and goes along Dubai Marina for 1 km at speeds up to 80 km/h. Cameras on your helmet will record every moment.
- Then it’s time for one of the most exciting things to do in Dubai: skydive if you dare. This parachuting school is one of the main attractions in Dubai Marina. They will take you on their flight thousands of feet into the air and let you skydive with a trained instructor.
- Head to dinner in the Sky, next to Skydive Dubai, for a meal that will lift you off your feet, if not quite so far. You can eat while hanging 50 meters in the air while the food is freshly prepared. The food is good, but the view of Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah as the sun goes down makes the experience.
- Dubai Harbour is also worth a visit. It has a world-class cruise terminal and is the site of many events all year, from live music to business gatherings.
Jumeirah Lake Tower
- Some of JLT’s buildings are apartments, some are hotels, and some are offices.
- The buildings are set around three big lakes and one area of parkland. Nearly every tower has shops, restaurants, cafes, and other businesses at the base.
- The area is split into 26 clusters, so names and directions often include “Cluster Q.”
- Even though JLT doesn’t have as many exciting sights as other areas, it has a great reputation for being one of the best places to eat in Dubai.
- But instead of super-high-end restaurants, JLT is mostly made up of small, family-run businesses that serve food from all over the world.
- After a few tasty treats, you should take a leisurely walk, which is exactly what JLT is great for.
- When the weather is nice, JLT is one of the best places to walk in Dubai because it has a large park and several lakes ringed by wide walkways.
- There are also many places to stop and enjoy the view while looking at the buildings in the area.
- The park is used for community events like markets, exercise activities, outdoor movie screenings and more.
- Check out what’s going on when you plan to visit. The area also has some great coworking spaces where you can work while here.
- It also has many interesting businesses, such as diamond traders, Damas Jewellery, and the DMCC Gaming Centre.

- It is against the rules to wear clothes with straps or no backs. You can wear them to nice restaurants, cafes, bars, and parties if they don’t have a dress code. But wear something to cover your body when you get there and leave.
